Got this e-mail in my inbox this morning...
I was forwarded your email about training guide dogs. This is a complex issue and I don't find email is a good way to discuss complex issues. Could you call and make an app't to see me when you are on campus for the transfer student orientation? (It isn't necessary to bring an animal with you.)So make an appointment, I shall.
At least it's not a flat out "no"!

It sounds a lot like what my principle said when I said that I wanted to bring Guide Dogs onto our campus. "No need to bring the animal." Not "you don't need to bring the working dog in training." I have to say it hurt a little when he called Freya that. Did you have the same reaction when these dogs were referred to as common "animals"?
