Goodbyes

I know I'm a really bad blogger, but nothing interesting has happened! Except for today. Today was the last day I'll get to see Janda until she graduates. She's getting recalled at Fun Day on Saturday, and I'll be working tomorrow and Saturday, so I can't go down for her very last day. Ohmygosh I am NOT ok with this. Every time I think it'll get easier, and every time it's just as hard to say goodbye.

Janda is one of those dogs that everyone loves, but no one really wants to deal with. She's spunky and smart with a side of goofball thrown in. But she is a bit stubborn and doesn't respond to small corrections. Her big problem all along, from beginning to now, is pulling on leash. And some people may not believe me, but I swear that dog has an attitude. And yet there's just something about her that you can't help but love--from the moment you walk in the door and she's attacking you with her happy face and tail.

She's a dog with a following--all her fans on Facebook will miss her, too. The whole college I went to will miss her from faculty to students to staff, EVERYONE knew her and loved her. A few of my friends got to hang out with her a lot and loved her. My family all loves her (which is a miracle).

And I love her.

And I'll miss my baby Bean.

And I pick a song for each of my dogs that is "our song" as they head off to campus. This is Janda's:

She's going to make someone very happy and very secure one of these days.

I know Bean will do awesome. :) Plus she will have her sisters there to play with. Can't wait to see her fly through the phases and graduate.
